What is Jivamukti Yoga?
Jivamukti Yoga classes are vigorously physical and intellectually stimulating. The emphasis is on teaching yoga as a spiritual practice. Classes consists of vinyasa (flowing asana sequences), hands-on adjustments, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, Sanskrit chanting, yoga philosophy, and deep relaxation. Asana sequences are adeptly woven together to fantastical soundtracks that are uplifting and inspirational - from Indian mantra ragas to spoken word to modern day rock & soul.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a system of exercise created by Joseph Pilates to strengthen and fine tune the body and mind.  The Pilates Principles are proper alignment, centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing, and flowing movement.  The work is done both on the mat and on Pilates machines.
